Sarah Katwaroo

Sarah Jo Designs was established by Sarah Josanne Katwaroo in 2017. Inspired by a Fabric Printing course titled ‘Surface Design’ which was pursued in my BA Visual Arts Degree Programme at the University of the West Indies and also stemming from a love for handbags – the journey of my passion for creating functional and versatile handmade bags with intricate to minimalistic prints and bold to simple colours began. Building this brand helped to nuture my artistic talent and art while creating affordable, every day, functional-wearing handbags for clients.
